A false car is defined as a temporary working platform inside the lift shaft; this provides the installers of the new lift easy access up and down the lift shaft in lieu of scaffold of other work platform systems.

 

All false cars are installed and maintained by Clear Sky Contractingand can be used for all dimensions of lift shaft.

 

False cars can travel anywhere from 15 meters to 150 meters, they have all safety equipment as required and can take up to 250kg (this 250kg allows for 2 men and equipment in total).
