Once the elevator company has installed the new lift doors and door frames into the rough openings a space will exist between the rough opening and the door frame, this space must be fire rated as per AS1735-11 fire safety rating.

 

Clear Sky Contracting will brace the frame and fill this space with materials to fire rate the frame.
